A Little Bit of Planning Goes A long Way.

A few Simple Questions:

To capture that glowing golden light, schedule your photoshoot 1-1.5 hours before sunset. Remember, on the shortest days of the year, that could be 3pm. So plan the month of your session accordingly.

Keep it simple! Trendy but classic pieces in solid colors or with subtle prints let your personality shine! Layers and texture add visual interest. Upon booking, you’ll receive our “what to wear guide” to help you plan the perfect outfits.

We have scouted the North Houston area for some very special locations for your portrait session. Our goal is to have beautiful light with a backdrop of greenery. Upon booking, you will answer a few questions that will help me choose the best location for your desired style.

Yes! Each photoshoot at The Highlands Photography includes your favorite digital images from your session, with a release to use them online or to print for personal use. The quantity depends on the image package that you choose to order.

Absolutely! Each image package comes with credits toward printing your photos with our professional photo lab. You may choose to print a few 8×10’s or create wall art to display in your home. We also offer albums, and cards too!

Recommended booking lead times vary depending on the time of year. If you have a specific date in mind you should book ASAP. 3-6 weeks ahead is usually a good time to book your photoshoot. You can check the session canledar during the online booking process. Always reach out if you need a specific time, we can often accommodate you.
